"Hush, my dear, lie still and slumber!
Holy Angels guard thy bed!
Heavenly blessings without number
Gently falling on thy head."
A Cradle Hymn by Isaac Watts
Legend has it that this was the "birthing room" for the early occupants,
and that legend is reflected in the decorations of the room. Located on
the second floor of the main house, with a wonderful view of the morning
sunrise, the Rose Room is a peaceful, quiet room with a canopy bed hand
made by a local Amish craftsman. The comfortable love seat faces
the working fireplace. The in-suite private bath features a traditional
tub and shower. TAKE

Built circa 1766, The Osceola Mill House Bed and Breakfast
rests on the banks of the Pequea Creek in a quaint and quiet historic setting
adjacent to a 1757 mill and a mid 19th century miller's cottage.
The area is known as "Pennsylvania Dutch Country" and is home to the local
Amish community. We are surrounded by several hundred acres of some
of the best farm land in Lancaster County. The daily farm activities
add to the charming scenery. There isn't a day that at least one
if not several Amish Buggies pass by the B&B. We can even arrange
for you to have dinner in a nearby Amish home.
The house is decorated in beautiful antiques, quality reproductions,
family heirlooms, and the owners' varied collections. The wide board
floors, exposed beams, deep-set windows, and five working fireplaces provide
an atmosphere of relaxation and comfort right here in Lancaster County.

some rest and relaxation, the Osceola Mill House is the perfect retreat
for any season. We look forward to helping you experience all that
we know and love about the Osceola Mill Hose B&B and the beautiful
